Description...

In light of Human Rights day and the fight against racism, Katlego along with a the Sing the Change choir, and a few other artists performed an original song written by Katlego Maboe called ‘RACE (against time)’. With this message the artists hope to engage society in a positive manner regarding the widespread issue of racism and all it’s resultant products. This is a fight we must fight together and not against one another. The time is now. It’s a RACE against time.

Divas Unite concert celebrated Women’s Day on August 9th 2015, a public holiday to remember all the women who fought against apartheid . Also a reminder of the great women who helped mould South Africa and the women who continue to lead the country forward. Featuring a line up of top female SA celebrity artists, including Zolani Mahola from Freshlyground who performed our orginal song "Hear our Minds," with a full orchestra and the Sing the Change Choir, represented by Sans Souci Girls High School. Year 11 Student Terrah Leigh Pieterson who sang lead with Zolani Mahola.

Sing the Change Initiative

Description...

Where it began in 2011. Introducing the "Sing the Change" initiative and our first home made music video. "Hear our Minds" is an original song by Laura Santoni and the Grade 7 learners of Ellerton Primary school in Cape Town, South Africa. Performed live, twice by two different Sing the Change choirs, with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and celebrity artits at two public events as our theme song to promote the voice of South African youth.
